I failed BEC with a 74 on my first attempt. My confidence is kinda shot with the CPA exam because I got a 37 after doing a poor job of studying for REG 1 month ago. Is 2 weeks enough time to study for BEC? I felt like most of the material on the exam was covered well in college and I just need to master formulas and some topics such as internal control, cost accounting, and info systems/op mgmt.
I feel like the writing section was simple the first time I took it so now I imagine I’ll probably somehow run into a memo on cost accounting or some other difficult topic I’m not prepared for (writing was only section i did stronger than other test takers that passed).
I plan to study 4-5 hours a day for 2 weeks because i’m currently not working and I think I should be close to 75-80 range if I can achieve this and master my weak areas. I have the online wiley test bank now which I didn’t have in preparation for my first exam. Is 2 weeks safe? I’m trying to take it early in this window because I would like to take a shot at AUD and give myself 5-6 weeks of study time? Thanks for any advice.
