So BEC is waiting for me on Friday, and I am getting a little nervous. I’ve been studying for about 6 weeks, using both Becker 2012 and Wiley CPA Test Bank. I understand most of the material, but I just hope I don’t get crazy questions I never seen. Anyway, whats the best way to maximize these remaining days???

I'm with ya, BEC on Friday the 13th. Everyone I tell that seems to be superstitious, lol, I've decided its lucky. I started Beckers Final Review last night, so I am spending the next 3 days on that. (same as I have done on the others) In addition I will go back and pick out the things I want to memorize, look at them as often as possible – hang them on the cube walls at work, stare at them on the bus to/from work. I feel better with the topics in BEC vs AUD/FAR, but I feel like I'm going to screw up the easy stuff, i.e. COSO framework questions…I've been getting 50/50 when I do the MCQ's, just cannot keep straight…CRIME, ISEARAIM, PHRASED…I mean, do they really all have to sound the same? UGH!

Today is my OMG day…this has happened every exam also. One day it hits me that the exam is in X days and I totally freak out. Time for some deep breathing and mental health exercises, lol. Just have to remember it is just an exam – worst that can happen…well we all know, I'm not going to say it. I WILL PASS! Power of positive thinking. 🙂

Good luck, you can do it! If you feel you understand most of the material then you will be fine, don't let the questions that seem unfamiliar throw you off…there are likely pretest. Take your best educated guess and move along.

    AUD 85 (2/12) Using Becker
    FAR 81 (5/12)
    BEC 79 (7/13)
    REG 85 (10/1)

I thought the same thing when I scheduled the exam for Friday the 13th…. I've been doing at least 80 questions a day so far this week, mainly using Becker Final Reveiw. Scores have been ranging from low 70s to upper 70s. Then I use Wiley test bank and score in the 60s….That does not make me feel too good. But tonight and the rest of the week, I plan on taking a final test (without my damn sister distracting me) and just hitting the points that I do not understand that well. I still been going over notecards everyday, but I am thinking of going through all of them and pulling the ones I am not very familiar with.

Let the CPA gods be on our side Friday.

I'm with you on Friday too. I've just been re-doing all the Becker questions and might add in some Wiley. I've also been practicing the memos a little.

    AUD 8/16/12- Ughhh 71, Rematch: 90!!!
    REG-12/6/12 PASSED

    USC MAcc- Fight on!

If you have one particular weak area, go over that area do homework questions there.

Otherwise, just do a 100- question (more if you can; less if you can't) practice test every day. & Then review every question's answer explanations. Snip, copy, and paste the questions & explanations for the Q's you got wrong.

As you get nearer, go back over all the questions that you got wrong in all the tests you did (that you copied and saved) as a refresher for the stuff you're struggling with.

    REG - Passed!!
    BEC - Passed
    FAR - Passed
    AUD - Passed

    Study Materials: Becker basic course
