I am starting to hate BEC MCQ…wait…HATE!
Man…I’d prefer FAR at this point. Averaging 65%…I’ve had enough for a day…week…
Needed to vent a bit, only you all would understand.

Yes, the problems in Strategic Planning, Operations Management, and Finance were very time consuming and frustrating. Long, tricky word problems. I felt like pulling my hair out.

@circadian malfunction those are topics have my lowest scores…! The length of some of these if definitely annoying.

I certainly hope this comes together, and fast! – I am shooting for a December test date.

Your subject line is exactly how I felt about BEC in its entirety! I took BEC the first time in September (like a week before the 9/15 tax deadline so that was awful timing on my part) and got a 72. I think that most of my struggle with BEC is that it's not what I'm exposed to everyday (REG and AUD were much more familiar to me). I have been using Becker the whole time, and for my retake last week, I knew I had to change something. So, I purchased NINJA notes and rewrote them–all 90 pages or whatever it was. Now, I haven't gotten my score back yet, but my MCQ's went from 60-65% average to solid 75-85%. I'm really hoping for that 75 on the exam though!

The BEC questions are long and awful, but a little shorter on exam day. My advice is to just rewrite some kind of notes. If formulas are your problem, go buy some flash cards for a few bucks and start writing–it will be worth it. If you have some PTO built up at work, it might also be good to take those few days before your exam. Good luck!!

I am so scared to take my next quiz for BEC…. I am doing awful on them!
Becker is not explaining this stuff well I have purchased Ninja Notes and Ninja Audio but I am really struggling with chapter 1. How am I supposed to know all of these formulas??

At this point BEC is even messing up my forum grammar!

I have the NINJA Notes and am also taking notes as I do the MCQs. The NINJA notes don't tend to help much on some of the ridiculous questions. My issue, for the most part, is with the calculation based problems…sometimes I just zone out as I am reading the novel of a question…which causes me to screw it up due to the build of exhaustion…or I apply the wrong approach. I am going to continue to work on it everyday, so hopefully it gets better sooner then later. I definitely need to review Cost accounting a bit more…

Taking FAR and AUD has helped in BEC. I am waiting for my AUD score, and am hoping to receive a 75+ on 11/22!

Unfortunately I am not a math whiz. I like to think my analytical skills are up to par but my BEC practice MCQ tell a different story. This is the time I expected to be solidifying and perfecting my knowledge, sigh, I plan to get the most out of my remaining days before BEC exam.

    BEC 10/29/16
    FAR 11/26/16
    REG TBA
    AUD TBA
