Everything accounting related that I loathe was thrown into BEC. Let me change that…the IT in my opinion is actually manageable. But that’s where it ends.

Did anyone really struggle with BEC and pass on the 1st or 2nd try?

I finished watching Overhead Variances and after 3 minutes into the lecture, Roger started speaking Greek. I’m not joking. I think I got the foreign version or something.

Cost accounting is the worse thing in the world. Am I alone? I’m in hell here people. 🙁

I agree, I truly believe BEC is the section that will keep my dream far away.

I just don't get a few sections. 75 would be like a 99 to me.

That is exactly how i felt getting my score yesterday. I only got a 78 on my 3rd try. Still can't believe I passed. You all can do it!!!! I was so down after my 2nd attempt, but all I could do is try new material. I used Beckers and Wiley's Test Bank. I believe it helped me get those extra couple of points I needed. Good luck to you allllll!!!!!!!

Wish you all the best for this exam. I found that Wiley's test bank helped me and I also bought the Wiley's textbook and read it from cover to cover once.

Zee-Congrats on passing! And I think you're actually right…BEC itsn't the devil's work…it IS the devil himself!

Givemesleep- When you get youre score are you going to keep this whole forum in suspense like you did for Audit? That was so funny…I still laugh about that. I'm with you 100% though. If anything could keep me from passing this exam it's BEC. 🙁

I don't mind BEC, but that might have something to do with the fact that I just finished a major in finance and teach cost accounting :). However, the IT section is KILLING me. I feel like so much of it is just arbitrarily assigning terms to IT functions that no one actually uses (cobit stuff, etc). I just do not do well with it. It took me about 7 hours to get through the MCQ's today and I probably averaged 70%. So frustrating.

It took me four attempts to pass BEC. Keep pounding out those MC's!!! Like someone said on another forum: Do multiple choice questions until you puke, clean it up and do more.
