Hi guys,

I have about 4 weeks to try and take BEC. I am getting married in May and with family coming from out of the country, they will be here for at least a month. I will not be able to get back to studying till June. I am thinking of taking BEC April 5. For those of you that have studied for BEC is this doable?

I work full time. I plan on getting up around 3am (crazy I know) each morning which would give me 3 hours each day during the week. I study well during those early hours so I have to stick to that schedule. On the weekends I can put in 8 hours each day.

I appreciate any feedback you guys have to offer.

Totally doable. Make sure you stick to your schedule. I did BEC in just about 1 month myself. Get through your entire course and give yourself 1-2 days to review. During those days make flash cards and study them.

Florida CPA!
Took final exam 2/25/15.
Sent in Application 3/12/15.
Issued License 3/20/15.
Used CPA Excel solely for all exams.

I did it in 4 weeks:

Ninja Audio

Public transportation – 1hr per day

After work – 2-3 hours per day

Weekend – 6-8 each day.

Then, test was on Monday. Took off Wednesday – Friday and had the weekend. I studied around 40 hours (no joke) in those 5 days.

But I had no prior experience in most of the subject matter so I was a little bit behind the curve.

Agree – totally doable.

I spent 10 days studying for BEC, but I wasn't working at that time. but I still feel you get plenty of time.

BEC is not that hard at all, compared to other sections.
