    Is it possible to study for BEC in 3 weeks using BECKER 2010? I will appreciate all of your comments.

    I studied for about 4 full time weeks but took weekends off (about 140-160 hours in total) and felt that I was prepared. I used Becker 2010, but thankfully most of it was review for me since I just graduated in May. I haven't gotten my grade back but I think you should be fine if you put in the time and use your hours wisely.

    FAR 7/2 - 88
    BEC 7/30 - 87
    AUD 8/27 - 80
    REG 11/12 - 96

    I think I did well, but it all depends on the quality of hours you put in. If you can put in 140 hrs+ and do quality work during that time you should pass, but I didn't see too much jump off at me that wasn't covered in Beckers.

    FAR 7/2 - 88
    BEC 7/30 - 87
    AUD 8/27 - 80
    REG 11/12 - 96

    christian2823 – I think it's possible, but highly unlikely depending on how long you have been out of school. I studied for BEC for 5-6 weeks using Becker 2010 and my score says it all……………………

    I've been out of grad school for 2 years.

    REG 79 (Becker); BEC 63 (Becker) 70 (Yaeger); AUD 66 (Becker; 11/30 - Becker); FAR 11/24 (Yaeger/Wiley)

    Yes. I did it in 2 weeks. But I had all the time studying at around 8 hours a day. You just have to commit. Plan well and know which areas you should concentrate on more. Goodluck!

    BEC - 85 | AUD - 92 | FAR - 95 | REG - 87

    Christian,

    I am in the same boat, I just scheduled BEC for August 31 and began studying today. I plan on putting 100 hours in before the exam. I do plan on skimming chapters 1 & 2 and focusing most of my time on 3-5. A majority of my time will be on the MC questions and not too much time in the lecutres (I have went through them once); though I will probably refer back to the book often during the MC questions to make sure I fully grasp the concepts.

    It is definitely possible…. I had 13 days to study for BEC and passed. Its not like I got in teh 90's but passing is passing. I would make sure and not slack on any of the chapters beause you never know what your test will be like. And make sure to put in good quality study hours. Good luck!

    FAR: 78 BEC: 79 REG: 86 AUD: 74, 83 DONE!!!

    Hi Guys…………..

    Does anybody knows about Becker class procedure? I want to attend live classroom for my one of the steps but I have to wait till Oct but before attending the live class I have a chance to attend the online class for the same step at the this month end.Now my main question is there any possibility that I can attend the online class now and after a month I can attend the live class? Do I need to pay the fees again or I can just attend the live class? And do I need to enroll in advance or I can enroll before a week when classes are going to start( I am asking for both online class as well as live class)???

    Need suggestions plz help me out and thank you in advance…………

    @Veena,

    I took the Becker live classes early this summer on Saturdays. These did not work well for me, as I do most of my studying and prep time at night and have a hard time tuning in for 8 straight hours. For the Becker live courses, you just have a proctor pressing play for the videos, which I found relativley easy to do on my own. There is no additional benefit to the classes other than they keep you on Becker's pace.

    @Christian,

    How is BEC coming along? I started the material yesterday and am fairly confident with chapter 1. Are you still sticking with the skim 1 & 2 and focus in on 3-5?

    Yes, I will stick with that. The order will be 1 5, 3, 4, 2. How did you studied the first chapter?

    I have already been through the lectures via live classes. So I went through and did all the MC questions and for the ones I got wrong I went through the text and reasoned why I got them wrong. Though on the first time through I was around 80%. I will do that for Chapter 2 as well.

    ok. I did chapter 1 and I'm in the same boat as well. The next day, I do the ones that I got wrong. Are you waiting for another score?

    Waiting for AUD. Based on what is predicted, I think around the 18th I should find out. Are you waiting on any?
