Really not looking forward to this test tomorrow. I’ve done about 2k MC’s scoring around 83%, but still don’t feel ready for some reason. Lost on cost accounting, but decently confident on most everything else. Am I just being paranoid?

Don't worry…. Choose your time wisely on what to review (IT) and remember that 85% of the test is mc…

Try quizzes from cpareviewforfree and again review (COSO)

I know I failed BEC and this is my beast!!!!! But it will be defeated!

    B - 62, 70, 72, 79!!!
    A - 68, 81
    R - 70, 82
    F - 84

I'm sure you'll be fine, especially with those scores on the MC. Please post tomorrow with how it went as I'm taking it in a few days. Good luck!

I appreciate it. I think my biggest fear is the fact that I barely passed last time I took BEC and felt good going into it. Just need to go in and knock it out.

Just got done…. Wear to start?

What a weird test. I just feel like there is no flow to the material at all in this exam, but that's neither here nor there. There were a few questions that were out of left field, which I guess should be expected. The questions were definitely wordier and calculation heavier on the last 2 MC testlets, so I am hoping that is a good sign. A lot of the questions seemed like they covered the exact same thing, and others not covered at all. I had 2 written communications that were almost identical, which could be good or bad.

My last 2 tests which were both passes, I felt great walking out. This one, I don't feel good or bad, just confused. Such is BEC I guess.

I really wish I could give a better explanation of my experience to help you out, but I didn't get a good read on anything.

It sounds like had a pretty good experience because the testlets got harder and you also didn't walk out panicking. You're right, there is no flow to the material. I'm reviewing now and jumping all over the place.

SMUT_Co, are you using Becker to study?

A trick I used for the Becker Final exams for Overhead Variances: Even if you cannot remember the formula you still can just eyeball if it's going to be favorable or unfavorable so you have a 50/50 shot at that point. Good luck

I am studying for BEC right now and I am using Becker 2012. I am just finishing up my first week and boy do I feel overwhelemed. I'm learning a lot more from the MCQ's then the lectures, but its trial by fire, I am guessing on some of the MCQ's and then using my notebad to write down and understand why I got a question wrong, I am spending a lot more time on the MCQ's then anything else. I hope this is a good approach. I never really liked cost accounting, but i'm starting to really LOVE IT (if I say this enough can I fool myself?).

    Any words of advice?

I took BEC a few hours ago. I could not really tell if the testlets got harder or not, they just had a few more very broad topics covered. If/when i have to retake it I will probably invest in the NINJA notes and spend more time on the becker ancillary topics.

Best of luck to everyone in the next few days.

I'm taking it Wednesday… I see you are waiting on AUD as well but are you still studying as if you didn't pass either or just chilling for a week or so?
