Seems like IT is my weakest section… the questions on it seem so random on it… any tips for improving it?

Well the first time around I crammed the whole course in a month. I did all the questions in my wiley book and WTB, knew how to get the answers, but didnt really understand the whole concept. Second time around I already had a foundation, so everything slowed down and it all finally clicked when reviewing again. I also added ninja flashcards, and I felt that it presented the topics in a different perspective. Seeing a topic taught in different ways really helped it stick.

Hey titoav15.. I think the best way that worked out for me for IT was doing as many MCQs as possible and making notes of questions that I didn't know. I studied from Becker and Wiley TB. Also don't forget to read through the whole chapter at least 1-2 days before the exam so that the concepts are fresh in your mind and revise your notes. IT is so random so its always better to do as many MCQs as possible. I hope that helps.

What? If you are going to pick a topic to kill why not pick IT? I mean, this isn't real world applicable IT. At least with Econ, although mostly theory, it can be used in some analysis. When the hell am I really ever going to need to remember the shape definitions in a flow chart? Or that a billion years ago there was something called a supercomputer? haha…KILL IT! The rest is at least reasonably applicable…

    MBA,CMA,CPA, CFF?, ABV?

I guess there is no other way other than repeating the MCQ and read the text over and over again. Trust me, when I first read the IT materials on Becker, it was totally a foreign language. The 2nd time and 3rd time are making much more sense…Still, I was hoping there are no IT questions on my real test but they did…sigh…anyway..good luck on the study.
