So I am REALLY struggling with the financial management module (using Becker). My test is on the 24th, and all I have left to do is less than 1/2 of the B3 homework, and then review all sections. I’ve taken a progress test excluding B3 and passed, but I’d like any and all suggestions for really honing in on B3 so that I can get over this hump. Then I feel like once I have a good grasp on it I will feel comfortable to work the final tests in Becker this weekend. Based on my strengths/weaknesses results from the 1st time I attempted BEC, this section was my major weak spot. Thanks in advance!

PS: I skipped over B3 and finished everything else, didn’t want anyone to think that my test is on the 24th and I’ve only completed 2 modules haha!

Break B3 into piecemeal sections. The actual material and steps and calculations isolated and by themselves aren't quite difficult. What makes it difficult is how many there are and trying to memorize all the calculations, then pulling them out at any given moment based on questions.

Take your time with B3 (and B2). Go through each section thoroughly. And once you have a solid understanding of all the processes in B3 just shove MCQ's down your throat. The constant repetition will be extremely helpful in enforcing the information.

You gotta' dive into the material no matter how intimidating it may seem. There's no easy way out. Work your ass off and you'll be rewarded.

    FAR: 50, 76!
REG: 74... (ouch baby, very ouch), 76!
    AUD: 65, 91!?
    BEC: 80! Aaaand doneskies!

    May 2012 to August 2013. Can't believe it's over.

Thanks! I got frustrated with going through homework at lunch, I think I'm going to skip over those that are formula driven, reread the chapter, review my notecards, rewrite formulas and tackle the homework again…I should probably feed my kid dinner for once this week instead of pawning him off on my parents haha. We'll see how much progress I make after he goes to bed 🙂
