I’m scheduled to take BEC on March 8th, however I have not studied.

Should I take the test on March 8th or just apply for a new NTS and take at a later date?

I think it’s rare (if not impossible) to guess your way to a 75.

If you've already paid and already scheduled there isn't much downside to taking it. It's even the shortest exam so it will be the least waste of your time and in the event that you pass you will be done!

Take it!!! You paid for it! No one can or will hold it against you if you fail, plus it can't hurt to have the experience of taking it… you'll probably fail, sure, but hey, more surprising things have happened… there's no chance if you don't give it a chance…

    ? AUD - 87 (8/12/09)
    ? REG - 77 (1/15/10
    ? BEC - 77 (1/6/09 - Expired) / 79 (11/18/10)
    ? FAR - 75 (2/11/11)

I agree as well. You really have nothing to lose if you take it. And, having gone through it once, can only help you next time.

Dude – take it. You have five days. Study the formulas really hard in those days and you definitely can your business school knowledge or IT knowledge to take educated guesses.

If there's any of them you can pass with minimal studying, it's BEC.

I agree with everyone else. You've already paid for it, so you might as well give yourself a chance. Cram until test day and see how you do. You never know, you just might pass!
