wow i am 1/2 way through chapter 3…it's horrifying!! 🙁 i suck at finance type questions. i have no idea what they are asking for or how to approach the question. i am hoping on the exam they don't go too in depth on NPV and all those calculations. i barely understand it and i took these finance classes in college!! (but who actually remembers it?!)

Don't worry MPoni123- chapter 3 becomes easier the more you go over it. I thought it was insane the first time I studied that chapter. I hated it so much I would always study the other ones instead. But like I said, if you take it slow it will come to you and all click. I just reviewed ch 3 last night. I was actaully getting in the 90's. So trust me… if I can do, you totally can!

thanks canttakeit! when do you take BEC? is this your second time? when i go over the questions again (particularly the math ones) i can remember how they calculated it i just have NO IDEA why!!! i hate finance 🙁

I take it tomorrow… for the third time :'( i got a 70 the first time… i didn't really study too much. Last time I got a 74 with more studying. This time I think I really know that stuff having gone over it so many times. I did some ch 3 and 5 this morning before work, and shocking it all made sense. I was doing the same, I remembered the numbers more than the concepts. So I tried to take it step by step and take notes.

Does Anyone think its possible to pass BEC first shot if study full time over a 2 week period. I am trying to reassess my study plan. I have already passed FAR-11/09. I take AUD on Jan 12…feel fairly confident but we'll see. I was planning on taking REG Feb 27 and BEC early April. But since I have lost my job I have free time and am wondering if it is realistic to squeeze REG and BEC over a 6 week span with more time spent on REG….Any feedback is greatly appreciated. Thanks

hey ilovecpa. are you planning on studying monday – sunday for 2 weeks?? i think even if you study that much you MIGHT be cutting it close. i am giving myself 3 weeks for BEC (i sit jan. 27) and am almost done with chapter 3. and i am still kinda nervous about it (i just wanna get it done before my tax season starts).

my recommendation would be to take AUD jan. 12 and give yourself 6 weeks to study for REG. it's a mini beast. then take BEC in april.

MPoni 123…hmm thanks for your honest feedback..much appreciated and good luck on BEC.

I guess it boils down to how I feel walking out of AUD next week and if I get my NTS for BEC in optimal time. But yes, my plan was a day off after aud on the 12th…then 18 days everyday study and sit for BEC Feb 1.. then a day off and then hardcore study for REG on Feb 27, for which I have already registered. This way I'd know all my scores by end of march instead of may and can use that in my resume when job hunting/networking.

I agree. A 2 week cram session might be calling it tight. Just don't try to rush through the material because it wont work. If you really focus, then I have faith in you! At least everything will be fresh in your mind.

Any suggestions on what to have for dinner the night before the big exam? haha Burrito or Pizza?
