Yes – the AICPA released BEC (I posted it as update #2)…I get an e-mail from NASBA when it happens…NASBA also tweets it if it happens during business hours.

What is your opinion of CPAExcel. I am using it and so far I have had success. BEC – 84, REG-78, waiting on AUD, and FAR (04/10?)?

I have really liked it. Espcecially for the price (and the fact that it never expires). I would definitely purchase it again. I've had good luck with it too……but I'm waiting to find out about FAR. Plus they just came out with that new study planner to help keep you on track – that definitely helped me feel less overwhelmed with the amount of material in FAR. Some of the lecturers are a little boring, but for the most part, are pretty good. When did you take AUD?

I took AUD on 01/09/10. I hope I'm in the first wave! I think I did Ok, I am working on my MBA and I had just taken a graduate level Auditing class in the fall. So I felt like I was prepared, but you just never know…. until you get your score. I am 2+ weeks into my FAR review, and I agree with you, I like the new study planner. I get a lesson or 2 behind during the week, but I catch up on the weekends. I really like CPAExcel, it seems to work for me. I know what you mean about some of the lectures being boring. There is a certain FAR lecturer that is just awful. I know he is supposed to be brilliant and all that, but I miss Pam! Good luck with FAR!

Sooo, I have a friend who is waiting for BEC (we're non NASBA), she was expecting her score at 9am today. Turns out the State board is in all day meetings yesterday and today….WTF???? Who does that, do they not know that we are waiting for scores????

Are you talking about the middle -aged man with the brown hair? I can't remember his name. There were 4 people……the lady, Alan Bizzell (the older guy), the gov't guy, and the boring monotonous guy.

I'm hoping I'm in the first wave too – but it'll be a toss up. Good luck!
