My state posts at 9am, so I already warned my boss that I won't be worth anything the rest of the day if I find out I passed at work. Is 9am on Friday too early for a drink? I could go bloody mary???? My parents have already asked if they get to party with me if I pass!!

No party for me….last minute cramming for BEC on Monday. However, I think if I get that passing score, it'll provide a TON of motivation to crank BEC out over the weekend!

almost_there – definitely not too early for a bloody – they're good at any time! A martini or something might be pushing it, but there's nothing like an early drink to kick off the day. Hell, we even keep beer in the fridge here at my office! Might have to fill up my thermos in the am. 🙂

Atrus – we'll have a beer for you to wish you good luck studying over the weekend. Definitely feels good to pass and certainly provides good motivation! Wish you the best!

I have a somewhat stupid question….I am in OK and according to the link OK is not a NASBA state, does that mean I'll get my BEC score sooner than a NASBA state or later? This was my 3rd time taking the BEC and I'd like to know if I should be happy (passed) or pissed that I failed yet again.

It depends… But I think you do. In NV we're not a NASBA state and we get our scores just about 12hrs after the AICPA releases it.

huffman- depends. I'm in KY which is a “Non-NASBA” state. We get our scores the morning after the AICPA releases. Just because your state is “non-NASBA” doesn't mean that you will get your scores that quickly. There are still some states that send scores out snail mail.

S00NtobeCPA – make no mistake, despite the studying a few beers (truly just a few though) will be in order if AUD is posted and I have good news this weekend!
