I felt like the AUD exam was harder than Becker homework questions. I am hearing that the BEC exam is easier than Becker homework questions. For those of you who have taken the BEC exam, do you think Becker (or other review)prepared you for this exam by providing challenging questions? I did some AICPA questions and found some were very tricky. Any feedback is appreciated. Thanks!

I used Gleim and the questions in my review materials were generally equal to or harder than the actual exam. I felt well prepared on exam day.

I am thinking that I just did not study hard enough for AUD. I feel more prepared for BEC. To be honest, I'm not a good test taker. I analyze everything, make things harder than they really are, … Just gotta relax and do the best I can. Thanks for sharing, @accounture.com!

Becker prepared me well for BEC, it was my highest score out of all sections. hammer on the MCQsss and you should be fine. Good Luck!!

@Tootsie, I am right there with you! I am a terrible exam taker! When I walk in there, I feel that I “know my stuff” … As I start to read the questions, I start to over-analyze everything, I start to second guess myself, and start to freak out. I also agree with you on AUD, the actual exam seemed much harder than Becker's questions 🙁 I honestly think it's the luck of the draw! Where are you at in your studying with BEC?

I am in the same boat.. I feel very confident when I walk into the test room and as soon as the questions start I over think things that should be very simple and start to freak out and lose confidence in myself.

I used Bisk the first time I took BEC and made a 73, I honestly felt overwhelmed with the amount of information, I feel like Becker does a much better job of focusing me. I have just started to study for BEC again so that opinion could change but I just passed REG using Becker and I hammered the MCQ's, which as stated above is essential. I honestly barely touched the simulation homework examples, sometimes it really comes down to luck.

Anyway good luck with studying! I am right there with you!

Im studying for BEC through Becker as well.. ive also heard MCQ is all you need to focus on.. the simulations for BEC seem very easy and if you know the material than you can get easy points on simulations.. my strategy right now is to study and do sections 1,2,4 and then do 3,5.. and i left myself 2 weeks for review and I will mainly focus on 1,3 and 5 doing my review.. the flash cards seem helpful as well I just got those in the mail.. Also, I will write down all the formulas in the book and memorize all of them and make sure i know them all… I just hope 3 hours is enough time.. i freak out horribly when im timed.. especially if I see the time clicking down.. so ill try not to look at it as much as I can.
