@Han – great, just what i wanted to hear. I'm taking it next week and also using Becker. Ive been doing the MCQ over and over so much so I can't stand it anymore. also heard COSO was very important, but not on your exam. It's hard to tell in BEC what is “important”

I did like 90 of those mc practice exams mixed with tbs. If you can, maybe try new questions. I think I got used to seeing similar questions. Best of luck!

@Han – my test was exactly the same. First testlet was super hard, second one way easier. Writing part was okay and other sims were not that bad.

I'm really nervous about the calculations. I sit on the 10th, and my goal is to be done with my final review by at least wednesday next week. I hope to be able to drill the formulas/calcs hard next week.

I had the same experience with BEC on the 28th. There were like 3 MCQs of material not covered by Becker. For the most part I think I did well enough there. I felt decent on the first 3 TBS, but the 4th was an absolute BEAST. I started it with 2 hours left and a goal of having at least 1 hour for all 3 writing parts, and ended up spending the full hour on the Simulation and still making guesses which didn't fully make sense to me. I just really hope it was a pre-test sim since this is my last exam.

Just took my BEC exam the other day. The MPQ were pretty good, tested everything especially IT. My first sim testlet was redonk and I took way too long. The second sim testlet was fine, did a little better. The written wasnt bad, I'd probably only save 45 minutes for it if I have to take it again. Tip on MPQ – Skip all of the calculation type questions on the first pass through then circle back and answer them. That will save you from freaking out as far as time. I'm not sure if I passed, it could go either way and I wouldnt be surprised.

Anyone else sitting for the exam this week? I'm taking it on the 10th and I'm really hoping I can get through final review by Thursday so I have the whole weekend to focus on problem areas and drilling MCQs. I'm listening to the Ninja audio on my work to work and back as well.

Any special recomendation for the Bec exam? I take my exam on friday im really clueless in what to expect.. :/

I would focus on SIMS and Written Communication since they're near the end of the exam.

As for SIMS calculations usually they are provided depending on the question. I would memorize the Financial Valuation calculations as well as any other formulas related to present value and interest.

Took it today. You definitely need to know everything because mine covered basically every topic. It was very computational heavy MCQs, too. I don't even have a clue if I passed, just hoping for the best.

The calcs were pretty straightforward, but you also need to know what the equations mean. Not sure if every one will get that much calculation but I would suggest to be familiar with all of them just in case!
