    Hello Jeff,

    1. I am scheduled to take BEC on 15th October. I wrote BEC in last testing window and scored 70.
    2. I am comfortable with Cost accounting.
    3. IT worries me alot. From exam perspective, I am weak in Economics too.

I really appreciate all your efforts in coming up with new ideas to help aspiring CPA to get there and trying to make it as economical as possible!

    Hello Ninjas,

I'm using Rogers CPA review and i was wondering if anyone knows how to pull up questions that have previously been flagged. I have no clue and support is slacking. Best rely on the fellow ninjas.

    TIA.

    Hello Everyone:
I'm using the Gliem study material for BEC and the professor stated in the lectures that Net Domestic Product – Capital Consumption Allowance = GDP.
But in the book it states that Net Domestic Product + Capital Consumption Allowance = GDP.
When I research this, it appears that you add it. Am I correct?
    Thanks!

    Yes @LCros, you are correct!

GDP – Capital Consumption Allowance = NDP

I am a month away from my test. Studying with Roger and at 75% done reviewing the material but I feel so lost!!! Planning to supplement with Ninja but this cost accounting material is kicking my butt. Does the test really go into that much detail and all the formulas? Helpppp

To anyone struggling or feeling hopeless about BEC, the test isn't as bad as preparing for it. I took it in September and passed with an 82, despite going into the testing center feeling the least prepared of the other exams (this was my last one). I only did 2 days of prep for cost accounting as a whole but spent a lot of time on variances (WHICH IS HUGE) IT wasn't that big on my exam but Econ was (SIM + WC)

A lot of it is just basic questions, not this in depth crap we see in our review. Brush up on writing skills, proofread your work if you have time!! I had 15 min left and instead of running out of there to get the new Spider-man game (which was my treat for busting my hump studying for AUD and BEC for 7 straight weeks) I proofread and found 4 errors that were easily corrected.

    Hi Everyone!!
    1. my exam date is in Oct 20 (10 days from today)
    2. Topic I am most-comfortable within this exam section is corporate governance, demand/supply
    3. IT is the topic i mostly struggle with. I am afraid I would do badly on the written section too.
I live in Orlando area if there is anyone who would like to be my study buddy, it would make me a really very happy girl! 🙂
