I take BEC on Friday…after the 74 in Aug….I just went through everything again and about to start a finial review….I have Yeager HS with some left over Becker Books from 2008.

Interesting point about the different tests and the mix of the types of questions. I had very little economic questions, I know it's only about 10% of the test but I don't think I had more than 3 or 4 questions on it. I was hoping I'd have more, it's good to know the test is not adaptive because in testlet 3 I had like 5 or 6 in a row that were 1 word answers and pretty straightforward. But then the next few were long calculations and one with some words I had never seen before lol. Good luck to everyone taking it or has already taken it. I have a week off before my FAR review classes start so that should be a whole lot of fun.

i take BEC at noon tomorrow. 🙁 i'm already sick to my stomach with nerves. i spent this weekend working on nothing but financial mgmt, IT and cost. i'm not confident at all with variable overhead variances and flexible budget variances so i'm just hoping there's just one or two questions on that. the rest i'm just gonna pray that i remember the calculations.

my hubby has an IT degree. i wish i could have a tiny bluetooth in my ear so i could read him all the IT questions. 🙂 not gonna happen!

Took the exam a couple of hours ago they tried to trick you on some of the questions and had a hard one too my questions were harder than last time though. I think I did ok, better than the first time I took it got a 72 I left feeling at ease like FAR and I passed so I hope I did. Now on to Audit and I will be good for 2010!

I took BEC on 10/1 and I have no idea how I did. I felt really good about the first testlet…but it only got harder from there. I didn't know they give you a more difficult testlet 2 if you do really well on the first…and the same is true for the 3rd I imagine? That being said…I'm guessing I did really well on the first, and then…no idea! It's so frustrating. I keep going back and forth deciding on whether I think I passed or not. Is the turn around for the first wave of scores really 4-6 weeks? Or do they usually score them sooner?

I took Becker's 2nd final exam yesterday, got a 63! what the heck? I got a 75.33 on the first one last week…Hopefully I was just having a bad day. I'm still upset though…I'm not sure what I need to do differently between now and Friday.

killaking – Let's hope we both see a passing score in a month and a half 🙂 I'm sure you did great!

mo2218 – unfortunately, BEC is NOT an adaptive test like the other 3. This means that your testlets should have been the same difficultly, sorry to tell you that it “getting harder” was just a coincidence… 🙁 And after that being said I have more bad news for you, scores really will be out in about 6 weeks, NO sooner. Wave 1 is halfway through November. That's the only problem taking it the first day of the testing window!

TexasTechalum – Dont' worry about it too much, I've heard of people getting pretty crappy scores on Becker final reviews, their questions are WAY harder than the actual exam calculation-wise. Just make sure you know how they got the answer and you should be good 🙂 At least that was my experience with teh calculations. The other questions are pretty representational
