Florida I will be joining you in the REG forum. Due to work and trying to finish this year I will only be there for around 4 weeks. Yikes! See you there

    @herbert- you'll do great!

Overall my BEC test was OK, I definitely had the same question twice if not 2 questions twice, I don't remember exactly. I thought that was really strange. I think I messed up a couple of the calculation problems out of being so nervous and just drawing a blank and some IT topics were out there, but nothing too bad. I did have a handful of audit questions which kind of threw me for a loop because I haven't studied audit at all and I wasn't too sure on those. I felt better after REG actually so I'll see. Good luck with those moving on to REG next, I start studying for FAR in a couple weeks. Not excited about that one. If anyone has any REG questions feel free to ask!

@njguy – I had that happen too with the multiple repeat question but the numbers were slightly different every time. Totally threw me off! I'm glad it went well though!

Glad I'm not the only who had that happen to them, except mine weren't number questions. It was the same question twice, I was surprised but I just really hope I got that one right lol. Any advice in studying for FAR since you did awesome on that one 🙂

    Florida_Candidate,

Sounds like you knocked it out of the park. Nice job! Now the wait begins and you get your 90something in six weeks.

    Thanks whitesox!

and njguy – my tips would just be dont' get overwhelmed! I felt like I missed a LARGE majority of my exam and still did really well. There's just no way to know everything for FAR. Like for AUD, I really did know EVERYTHING. you can't do that for FAR so just do your best 🙂

I'm leaving for the exam in 2 hours. I have to drive 3 hours to the prometric center in San Juan, PR. After that I'm going to take my wife to Krispy Kreme! haha, as a late birthday “dinner”. I feel weird because I'm not as nervous as I was for FAR

That's great to feel better than FAR! And I can't imagine having to drive 3 hours! I was throwing a fit about 2! LOL I'll be thinking about you in a couple hours 🙂

good luck! Though you won't need it!

Hi everyone – I also took BEC yesterday (just signed up to the forum) and not sure how I feel about it. It was a ‘weird' exam. Sadly the last week I put in cramming the detail, doing variance and costing questions seem liked a waste.

    – Calc problems were much easier than I expected (or I messed up horribly..)

-Some odd variations of certain concepts that I was not familiar with (I used the Wiley book)

    – Several ‘odd' economics questions

    – Audit questions – why?

I really hope I pull through and get a 75 as I'm not sure how to prepare ‘better' for BEC. The questions were so ‘out there'. Anyone else feel the same?

I feel the exact same. If I didn't pass I'm not sure what to do differently to study next time. The questions I feel like I missed were ones that I wouldn't know how to prepare for next time 🙁 I'd just say depending on how close I am (if I'm a 74) I'll probably just study teh same way and hope for a better mix of questions 🙁 I'm sure we both passed though honestly…

That is good to hear! Yes, compared to AUD, were I felt pretty comfortable walking out of the exam, this one was more like ‘hm… very uncertain'. Up to now I have been mostly intimitaded by FAR given the huge amount of material, but now I am looking forward to an exam were you ‘know' if you have gotten a question right or wrong. That is a fair statement about FAR right?

LOL I'd beg to differ! I had a complete mental breakdown during FAR. I guessed on so many, I mean it was educated guessing but still guessing. I thought I was getting a ton wrong and then the simulation just totally threw me. And yet, I passed, and with a great score. And I've heard that same story from a lot of people. So… just remember with FAR that you CAN'T know everything and a LOT of people feel terrible during the exam so don't get intimidated studying for it, or taking it. You really have no idea how you did until scores come out 🙂

It's very passable though, especially with your scores you already have. (high eighties)

Thanks for feedback. I will try my best to remember that during the exam as I'm struggling to remain calm!
