Yep, I'm from Chicago. I lived in the city until I was 10, then my family moved to the suburbs. I live in the western suburbs now.

You are ready for this test…every time I take a test, I feel like I could have done more, I may have missed something, or I'm lacking in a few areas. So far, it hasn't mattered at all. I think if you feel even remotely close to how you felt before FAR and AUD, you'll do great.

Enjoy your evening and DO NOT OPEN UP ANY BEC MATERIALS! You are done with studying for BEC. Clear mind, watch some TV, get some fresh air, and get a good night's sleep!

Glad to hear you got good advice from your dad and were able to roll with the punches. This is what we parents do best (I have a 21-yr-old son at Vanderbilt…he calls me when he has those moments too). So glad you found out it was the wrong testing center today while you still had time to work it out…at least you don't have to reschedule this way. 🙂

You may even want to go back to your Starbucks for a short rest stop after the exam before heading back on the road…give yourself time to unwind, then drive back knowing you've got 3 down and only 1 to go!!

Just completed the BEC exam. Overall the test was as expected. The calculations were pretty straight forward. There were a few questions that I should have known, but couldn't pull them out of my head. Although, the test isn't adaptive I felt that all testlets were relatively the same in difficulty. I used Becker to prepare for it and I felt that by listening to the lectures and repeatedly working the multiple choice made me well prepared. Hopefully this helps those that haven't taken it and I get my 75!! Good Luck

All of them but one was covered in the book and could be solved through the process of elimination.

I'm back from Tampa! I'll put this in bullet form so it's quick, I NEED a nap after driving all morning!

-Wasn't horrific, feel “Okay” about it. Not nearly as confident as I was about AUD but I don't think I failed

-Calculation questions were mostly easier than Becker (I got one wrong that I know of because I used the wrong formula lol I realized this after I went to the next testlet)

-All testlets were the same difficulty (I know this is common knowledge but I have to admit it was nice getting the same kind of questions 3 times)

-My IT questions seemed kind of out there. Unlike Bob I feel like a few of them weren't covered in Becker but maybe I just wasn't listening. I don't think it was a big enough portion of the exam to make me fail though.

-First question was a relatively long calculation which freaked me out but after that it was pretty easy sailing. I just think starting out with a calculation is tough!

You will be missed, as I'm going for the AUD forum for the next 2 months. Unfortunately I will have to take REG on 2011 because of time constraints (MBA and work). For AUD, I will apply your strategy of memorizing every report, flashcards and lots of mcqs. I will reply replay again tomorrow following my exam experience (have to drive 3 hours to get to prometric center)

Good to hear the reports back. Sounds like you both did well, but I guess it is like they say…everyone's test is different, so we cover the best we can and then just dive in. 🙂

I'll be glad when I'm on the other side of mine on Monday…then I'll be moving on to FAR – hopefully my last section (notice how I'm using the power of positve thinking here…that I'm gonna pass BEC, that is). 🙂
