Internal controls CRIME are changed into something else per the 2017 executive document. I understand that this is being tested in Q2. Anybody has any idea how we should study for this?

The components and principals are no longer aligned with my current materials.

I just dealt with this same problem from Becker. They told me it is testable and to download the PDF and print it out to stick in my book…. This is absurd to let people know roughly 2 weeks before it is testable. Also, if you take the test in April how are you supposed to study the correct questions on the ERM if the material won’t be updated until May????

This change isn't a big deal as far as your exam prep is concerned.

It's Five components that are principles-based and 20 sub-components…it doesn't really supersede anything (other than the 2004 ERM).

Technically, it's testable – but I don't really know how they're going to test you in-depth on this.

I certainly don't recommend memorizing it.
