Are we expected to learn the section# of SOX Act,2002? How about the provisions of the relevant Sections? Do we need to jot down the exact lines as appended in the Section or can we present them in our own words for Written Communications? Have understood that this area accounts for almost 16-20% of the Exam and a heavily tested area.

Also wondering if using Ninja materials (notes and MCQ) to study the Corp Gov section is enough? There are only 62 MCQs available.

Would anyone recommended seeking out additional materials or are the topics covered in the Ninja materials enough to do well on this portion of BEC?

Even Gleim has 93 MCQs and I think thats the maximum!Piece of advise received on this query from another source – “As far as SOX goes, you won't be required to memorize all of the subsections of the act. However, be able to explain why it was enacted, who implements it, and how it impacts the activities of CPAs”

I just took BEC and got an 85… No memorization of subsections is necessary. I would say just know the underlying concepts of SOX and COSO, and who/why enacted and you'll be fine. They kind of overlap anyways.
