    For people who have taken BEC – What kind of MCQ’s are more common on the BEC exam? Calculations or Definitions?

    I agree with CPA-Valenz, BEC had both calculations and definitions.

    REG - 78 Expired 11/24/11 - Oct/Nov 2013
    FAR - Retake for the 5th time - Jan/Feb 2013
    BEC - Retake for the 4th time - April/May 2013
    AUD - Retake for the 3rd time - July/Aug 2013

    The answer in which all good accountants should get used to saying is “it depends.” The first time I took BEC, there were a lot of calculations. However, the second time I took it, there seemed to be much fewer calculation problems. I think it is partially the luck of the draw. Be prepared for both.
