I just took the exam and the sims were nothing less than torture! Becker didn’t prepare me for those types of sims at all! It was like 3 topics combined in one sims and then another 3 in second sim.
I felt comfortable doing the mcq’s but as soon as I reached the sims testlet, doomed!
It doesn’t feel like I could have better prepared myself because I left no topic while preparing and was trending 85-90%. I hope to pass!

If you hated the BEC SIMs, you are definitely going to despise FAR.

I sat today as well and can agree that I was surprised by the SIMS. I had ran through most of the Becker BEC Sims which helped but the actual exam sims just had too much going on.
Of the 4 I couldn't tell which one was the pre-test because they all seemed equally difficult. I would say concept heavy, not really calc heavy. The support docs provided in the sim did provide any calculation/formula needed so that was a plus. We did what we had to do but my gosh I hope they adjust those sims for future candidates.

I used all of my time down to the last 5 minutes.

@Recked – Far sims earned me a 74 and are “the reason” I lost my other 3 sections so they will forever be known as evil to me personally.

The SIMS on my BEC exam this quarter took me much longer than other sections. They had significantly more reading than other SIMs. Definitely much more than FAR. Not necessarily more difficult, but more time consuming.

I agree @AF. BEC was my longest exam hands down. However, I gotta say difficulty level on BEC was nowhere close to what you can expect on FAR. FAR sims were truly brutal.

I took BEC today as well. It was absolutely brutal. I didn't expect that much IT questions and that really threw me off in mcqs. I hope the sims and WCs get me through because I didn't feel that good at all after the mcqs. I barely had any econ or finance which were my strong points.

@ Josh and @Dev12 : I completely agree with you guys. I felt over prepared for the exam but the SIMs were insanely long. As iff we are writing a journalism test. It was just crazy.

My Sims didn’t have that many documents for review. One Sim has me worried b/c I felt like I didn’t need to review the one document to be able to answer the multiple selection chioces. One Becker teacher said that some of the documents can be distractors.
