So I have been studying with Becker for BEC and all had gone pretty well until I ran into section 5. All other sections seemed mostly like a review or just memorization and I made it through the MCs with basically no problems. Section 5 questions are taking me forever and the entire process is a bit overwhelming. I sit in next Saturday the 28th and still plan on reviewing all of the MCs. Did anyone else who is studying with becker run into this problem. Are the questions on the exam as difficult and lengthy as the ones in Becker? Thanks for the help.

What's section 5 cover so I can keep this in mind when I start BEC studying in a couple weeks? Hah.

I can't say myself as it will be my first try this Saturday as well. I've heard that calculations on the test are much shorter and easier. Theory questions are comparable I believe. I have trouble with Chapter 5 as well. It's definitely the toughest chapter.

Unrelated but just wondering how you felt after taking your AUD exam? I see that you aced it. Just wondering because I'm waiting on my score and felt like I did extremely well on it, but I'm still scared. It worries me that the mc were almost too easy.

It took me forever to finish all the questions in chapter 5 (chapter 3 too, for that matter), and really understand all those questions, especially the overhead variance ones! If you've had no trouble with ch 3, looks like you are in good shape. What I saw on the exam was far less computational and far less wordy. A good chunk of the questions were theory as well. Good luck!

Good GAWD, yes! I flew through the other four sections, but B-5 has been a b*tch. My background is in finance, I took cost accounting 10 years ago and I have zero manufacturing experience.

I HATE overhead variances…I took a three progress tests this weekend and scored 85+ on all of the other four sections and in the 70's on B-5 every.single.time.

count me in as well, took the whole day yesterday to answer just the 137 supplemental questions for B3. giving myself 3 days to do a final review (hw mcq) just for B5
