Guys, Im taking BEC this coming Tuesday, I used Becker and Wiley. Neither cover topics on partnerships, article of associations. I came across a question testlet full of such questions. Getting worried now, are they necessary for BEC?

Not sure about partnerships. I studied with Becker the first time I took BEC and now using Wiley and I never remember seeing anything about that. However Wiley (the 2013 book) does discuss Articles of association (AKA Articles of Incorporation) on page 35 & 36 very briefly. It also has several questions on MCQ in the online testbank usually testing your knowledge of the difference between the articles of incorporation and the bylaws.

Also what testlet did you come across that was full of such questions?

Good Luck Tuesday! I'm taking it Monday (7/1) myself.

now u are scaring me…:( i came across this online free test i took to see how prepared i was. It had 5-6 questions on partnerships that i never heard of. 🙁 i believe it was based on lambers. I feel so unprepared. Its my first exam. Best of luck to you as well.

I wouldn't be concerned about Partnerships… If Wiley nor Becker does not even mention it you can be rest assured that the probability of you seeing a question about it on the exam is extremely low. And besides its tested pretty heavy in REG so not sure what reason it would show up in BEC. However run through the Corporate Governance Chapter questions (or the book) of Wiley and you should see a little on the Articles of incorporation. Like I said above in the Wiley 2013 book it starts on p. 35
