Currently using Roger + Ninja MCQ
So I recently took REG (still awaiting my score, felt good about it) and felt like the combination of Roger + Ninja MCQ was perfect. 2800 MCQs went through the roger videos twice. Everything clicked and despite the long hours I felt confident throughout the studying.
Now I am onto BEC and I am having issues. I feel like Roger’s videos on Econ are terrible. He just plows through them with little explanation. I jump over to Ninja MCQs and I have getting murdered on most of them. I’m getting pretty frustrated at this point and feel like I should just move on. Normally this is how I study:
1. Read material
2. Watch Videos
3. Read material with notes
4. MCQ till I’ve gone through all questions for that section.
5. Move onto next section.
(I’m averaging about 40 hours a week of study)Problem here is: I am like 50% on these Econ questions and between using the little Roger gives you and thumbing through Khan Academy videos for information relevant to the CPA level of econ, I’m struggling. I don’t want to waste anymore time on these questions as my test is 30 days away and I want to at least mow through the material twice.
Any suggestions? Any tips on making this stuff click? I think I have more of that analytical mind where FAR and REG seem at least at face value the least frustrating tests, and I am looking at the non financial/cost part of BEC and AUD in horror.
Think I should just skip this crap for now and return later? Or you think I should just grind out these questions and keep pushing it till this Econ sticks then power forward. Any advice would be GREATLY appreciated. Thanks!
