Becker review. It is taking me forever to get through these first two chapters. Very irritating. I’m assuming 3-6 is much easier/faster to get through?

I'm on BEC 1 and struggling myself =( In reading the first part of B1 I thought it was going to mirror auditing a bit (Internal Control components <CRIME>) but the questions were much different!!

As I read and take notes it makes sense and I almost feel like it's not hard material but then I start the MCQs and get a 60.

I skipped chapter one and did it last, it was super boring and all memorization. Doing it last let the memorization piece be more fresh in my mind.

Lol I'm in the exact same boat. I thought BEC was supposed to be the easy test! It's not bad, just really time consuming.

BEC 1,2 and 3 went slow for me. 4,5, and 6 went much faster. I have a degree in econ, so I actually sort of skipped through a lot of B5. Mostly high level macro stuff.

There are a few posts on this! Clearly, Becker should have spread out the first 2 chapters (or made them not as bad). Those two are extremely demotivating…I almost feel like this is FAR all over again with it taking me like 30 mins to do 8 MCQ’s…BOO! But in my exam experience Becker questions are always so much harder than the actual test (and soo much more in depth). You kind of just have to take each question in stride and not put too much pressure on yourself if you don’t get each question right. Just try to understand the questions and formulas.

But still the other chapters better be easier! : -)

BEC is miserable!!!!! All I want to do is be done with Chapters 1&2 so I can start doing progress tests…very discouraging when I go to the MCQ section and see there are 100+ per topic…that's 2 days of MCQs!!! Very poorly organized, especially for people working full time who cant sit down and bang out 100 MCQ on a Tuesday night in March!

I agree…i'm half way done with 2 and its a struggle getting through the mcq. Reminds of FAR with all the calculation intensive questions.
