So I’m going through Becker B3 for BEC and the questions are ridiculously hard. My percentages suck…some as low as 58-59% and my highest are about 80%. I haven’t gotten to supplemental questions yet, but I am definitely knocking out B4 tomorrow, taking Friday off, and doing all of the B4 homework/B3 supplemental questions/B4 supplemental questions/progress tests/written communication practice over the weekend. This really reminds me of FAR. I don’t know why people think it is easy.

Anyway, how much is it going to kill me if I don’t get great at this area before the exam? I know I will definitely improve, but I can’t say as of now how vast of an improvement it will be.

I wish I could tell you that B3 isn't heavily tested, but on my exam it WAS heavily tested. Sorry if it's not what you wanted to hear. I would suggest making a list of all the formulas in this chapter, it really worked for me. And keep doing MCQ for this chapter. Don't worry about the percentage, make sure you work those long problems step by step. Use your formula sheet when you do your HW, it's not cheating – it's learning. If you still don't know how to tackle a problem after a few times, print out the MC that's giving you a hard time and rewrite the solution, don't just skim through it, take your time and rewrite it once outlining each step. I'm sure you can handle this chapter, it is not as bad as it seems at first 🙂

I just came online to see if I could find anyone with the same issue… I was just going through the B3 supplemental questions and had to give up for the time being. I'm kind of glad I'm not the only one. I don't know why I've heard BEC is relatively easy! None of the AUD chapters were as hard for me to get through as B3. It took me way too long to get through the regular MC questions for B3, so I'm going to move on to B4 and come back to B3 next week… I hope I can get it all down in the next couple of weeks!
