I keep seeing this question and I am so curious is the AL available when you do BEC?

Ok thanks, I guess since there is no research question it makes sense not to have it. I'm not going to worry to much about the BEC sims since I am an ok writer. I am more worried about if the format matters. Like if you have to make up a memo header and if there is a specific way to end the memo, I think I read you have to write “your truly” then your own name. Are all three memos or are some a letter? I haven't gotten to this part of Becker yet.

Ok then, if no AL then what really matters is basically the form/structure of the memo and not the content? For example, if I am explaining advantages/disadvantages of debt and equity and I mix up the advantages they won't take points off if my content and spelling are correct.

My understanding is that it looks for format, spelling, and existence of key words, so if some of the key words are used incorrectly it should slip by the computer grading. But if it makes it to a human grader, they may look at that.

@kimboroni Thanks. Also it looks like you used Wiley, do you think it adequately prepared you for BEC? I feel like there were things that were not explained thoroughly or at all compared to other study materials
