Anyone have an effective BEC 3 day cram strategy?

I’ve studied for BEC for over two months. I got through Wiley TB completely. Thing is, I just got back from a week-long vacation and didn’t get any studying in. Shame on me, I know. My exam is Monday and I took the rest of the week off from work. I plan on going to the library all day for the next three days. My weak areas undoubtedly are Financial Management, Economics, and Strategic Planning.

If you were in my shoes, what would you study and how would you study for a 3 day cram? Not sure if I should read the Ninja text or just read the notes. Or should I just be doing MCQ? Any advice would be great guys and gals.

Thank you and Happy New Year!

I would say hammer out MCQs. Even though you took a week off you've probably gone through all the content, so you should know or be familiar with all the content. If you need to read the notes/text; I'd only focus on your weaker areas. Definitely spend the most time on MCQs though.

in the audio, jeff tells you to go over all of the IT MCQ the day before your test, since that is mostly memorization and just short term memory recall. so i would do that.

This is not a BEC 3 day cram session if you have been working on it for 2 months haha. I studied from start to finish for BEC for 5 days and got an 87 so I think you will be fine. If econ is your weakness I would study it because once it clicks you can pretty much answer any question because they are really consistent so those will get you easy points! good luck!

At this point, do as much as conceptual MCQs and skip over the numerical ones. Then, you have to go to church the weekend after the test.

Seems like the general consensus is to hammer MCQ. Glad I got Ninja MCQ as a secondary TB. On top of that though, how much time should I spend on the SIMs (Written Communications) if my undergraduate degree was in Journalism? I can write fairly well, but I don't want to get bushwhacked come test day.

BTW, thanks for all the responses. You are all pretty, pretty, pretttay cool.

You want at least an hour to write WCs. You also have to consider how good you are with MCQs. My MCQs practices were average so I decided to spend more time on WCs and that helped me pass.

What people have told me is if you know the concepts and can put two words together you will be fine, but I would maybe attempt two random once in Ninja or your other TB to see how long it actually takes you to do….

Focus on knowing all the formulas and ratios; IT; COSO and variance analysis.
