I take BEC for the first time Saturday, I have only taken FAR before this so I am still new to this experience.

I have heard IT is heavily tested and so is COSO and corporate governance. Does anyone have any last minute study advice while I wrap this section up? I am currently using the Gleim test bank and trending with an 82 on the whole bit. I haven’t even practiced sims because I did that for FAR and it didn’t help me on test day.

Any tips or insights from those who took it (recently) would be appreciated.

have a template ready for the WC and make sure you do the aicpa sample exam. good luck!

I took it today – definitely do the AICPA practice exam. Make sure you understand the basic economics concepts. I know for a fact I messed up 2 MCQs because I confused a couple simple concepts. Good luck!

Jennifer, did you have a lot of IT on yours? People I work with tell me its all over the exam. Also, if you dont mind sharing, what kind of sims did you get? I am most nervous about those because I have no idea what to expect.

Yes, I had heavy economics, IT, and COSO. Unfortunately because of disclosure rules I can’t say much about the simulations, but they were all pretty similar to the ones on the practice exam. I felt like that prepared me well for the ones I had. I’ve heard some people get variance JE SIMs, but that wasn’t my experience today.
