Hello guys, I’m taking BEC soon in 3 days and I barely started my review process. Now I only have 3 days left to finish my Becker final review 8 topics+ 2 final exam done .

Can I please get some hint on absolute must-know topics so I can pay extra attention to them as I quickly browse over the content. Should I bother reading the IT addendum from Becker the day of my exam ? (taking it 7.45 Pm)

Thank you guys! I’m an excellent crammer so don’t hesitate if you want to be specific or want to list out a laundry list of things to cover.

While I can't tell you what was on my exam, and everyones test is different anyway, I suggest memorizing all of the formulas that you can! I took BEC today and logic kicked in on a lot of the other stuff but I wish I had spent more time on the formulas (AND what they mean, not just the mechanics).

thanks for the prompt response. so besides the equations, how many conceptional questions were asked? And were they difficult? I'm not doing too well on Becker problems during my first attempt, so I'm getting worried.

Based on my experience, I would recommend being comfortable with all the formulas and IT concepts. Good luck!

thanks for the suggestion! and it's kinda funny that we're waiting for opposite scores. Good luck to you too! Did you use Becker too?

No I used Bisk and did a bit of review from my college textbooks and notes. I knew there was a reason I held onto them…

I agree that studying the formulas is important (and is useful in FAR and AUD too), as they are most likely to show up here. Becker tends to be a bit too difficult with questions by giving you 50 different sets of facts, and then wants to know if you can calculate… days sales outstanding. I found the exam to be a bit more precise, you just had to know how to move around the numbers.

But be careful, logic doesn't always help. Switch a numerator and denominator, and that's choice A and B… forget to include something (or something else maybe added or used, or may have/should not have been calculated) is C and D, with the same A/B switcheroo. So if you really have no clue with what goes where, you may not be able to “eliminate” answers, and ALL may be right. (I generally tried to solve for other possibilities with my equations, and found in some instances, I can come up with A, B, C, and D… But not in all instances, so I knew my answer was good then!)

IT was also very heavily tested, as it was indicated.

Economics wasn't nearly bad at all, so if you understand the jist of things, you should be fine.

    REG - 97
    BEC - 82
    FAR - 86
    AUD - 96 ... DONE!

In addition to what has already been mentioned by others here, as far as conceptional problems go…I'd be sure to know my business structures (B1 in Becker). This is pretty easy stuff though – just make sure you give it a quick review to pop out your answers pretty quickly…saves times for the calculations you'll need to be doing with all those formulas you'll have memorized.
