I'd say you are definitely almost there- but to give you any clue I scored 85 on BEC practice exam and was trending 87% with a 82% average and failed with a 71- next time I won't feel comfortable until I am in the 90's- but then again everyone's test is different so you could be good to go… so just my 2 cents worth…. BEC's a killer so don't underestimate it

and they ask me why I drink...

FAR- 61-next time I'll ask for lube instead of a calculator
REG-75- Never been so happy to see such a low grade
    BEC- 8/11
    AUD- 9/2

I never took any practice exams, but I can tell you that you are going to see a bunch of questions on the real exam that are nothing like the ones you've been practicing, especially for IT. I was trending 82 and ended up with a 71 on my first attempt and for the second one I was trending 93. Guess we'll find out next week if I passed, but it's not looking good.

    FAR: 75 Roger & Ninja (notes/flashcards/audio/MCQ)
    AUD: 73, 81
    BEC: 71, retake 8/29

Second-ing @Re2spect… I feel like we had the same exam. I hope I did some quality guess work. Trending was 84, my last two practice tests were 85/87.

I've been trending in the mid-high 80's and was feeling pretty good up until I read this post 🙁

Oooh mckan, I should aim for 90 then. Wow.

Weird re2pect, I thought that the practice questions would be fairly comprehensive. Someone told me to study IT hard though so that is plausible.

Yeah mcalabrese, have more work to do I guess. Good to know though. I wonder what Jeff would say though.

BEC is the weirdest exam … I still do not know how I passed this last time. Even though I had studied the topic more than 600 hours over 4 attempts, I still felt like I was guessing a lot. There was no preparing for some of the more conceptual topics. BEC is the worst exam.

I really feel that these exams, overall, are dependent more on luck (i.e., getting tested on things you do better on) than anything else.

@Porma Fierles – I have seen people that didn't study cost accounting pass with high 80s and I have seen and experienced personally the opposite, where people study their butts off and fail. You need to judge how comfortable you are with each topic rather than judging your likeliness of success off arbitrary numbers, like trending. Obviously the more comfortable you are the higher you will score, but the knowledge that you can work a topic forwards and back is more imperative.

Dang, OK then I will go off more of my feeling of knowledge than just the numbers. Thanks.

I honestly think that our perception of BEC could be skewed by pretest questions… if you have 12 questions that you have to guess on, you're going to feel really crappy about your exam. Here's to hoping those wild questions were pretest.

Very possible, but better to not take chances in my opinion.

Of course. I have taken no chances with my other 2 exams. I thought i took no chances on this one… but you cant study whats not in the book. BEC is the wildcard

I speak for myself, but i felt a little duped by the BEC exam. Ive taken and passed FAR & AUD pretty authoritatively… and i studied the same way for this. There were 100% questions that were not in the study materials. I obviously cant say what, but thats why I hope theyre pretest… not because im hoping for freebies, just because i went back to my becker book after my exam and they were not in that book…

I have a question for anyone who can answer: in your experience, how are the WTB questions compared the Ninja Test Bank questions. I got to the point where I was starting to remember the answers to WTB questions, rather than having to actually work them out either conceptually or with formulas/ratios (depending on the question). I purchased the Ninja test bank for the first time for BEC and I'm finding that these questions seem harder than the WTB questions? Does anyone have experience with this?

    Got it.

And I do not have Wiley.
