50% on BEC MCQ? I thought this was supposed to be \"easiER.\"

    Is Becker overpreparing me?

    Only on Chapter 2 with all of the calculations. I haven’t even gotten to cost accounting yet.

    What gives?

    I even have an MBA… I thought that was supposed to help?

    Becker B2-B4 = you're going to hate your life with all these complex/computational MCQs, but I guarantee you'll be thankful on the exam date. I'll find out this Friday when I take it.

    I don't know how having an MBA is supposed to help you? I have a MSA and it's not helping. If anything, undergraduate level finance courses helped me better than the ones I took in the MSA program.

    Agreed, B2-B4 will be hell. I thought this was supposed to be easier too, that's why I took it as my third this quarter. It is proving to be a lot harder than expected. It basically combines the classes I did worst in while in college. fantastic. lol! I just keep hammering MCQs. I think that is the best bet for hopefully passing. I am fluctuating between 50% and 75% in progress tests, and I take my exam on thursday. Freaking out justtttt a little! How is everyone else coming along in the progress tests? Can anyone give insight as to how they did in Becker MCQs and the actual exam?

    I thought BEC was supposed to be easier too and like @glopooka is the reason why I decided to squeeze BEC in as my third exam for Q2. I'm not even finished covering the entire book yet and my exam is on June 8. LOL!! I have two more subsections to cover in the “Operations Management” section of the book. This is turning out to be my “Hail Mary” exam and hope that I retain enough information to pass. The good thing is that I don't need to review for a week because I haven't had time to forget everything since I've only been studying for about 2 1/2 weeks. Once I take this exam this Friday afternoon, I'm not looking at anything CPA related for the entire weekend.

    Good luck PDiddy2000. I feel your pain. I flew through the book so I could review for a few days. The fact that people are saying it is probably math heavy, I am freaking out more. I am not doing great on my progress tests. How have your progress tests been going? My exam is thursday. I will be glad to get this one done.

    I never score high on my progress tests. I'm using Wiley and their questions are extremely hard but I approach them as a constant learning tool, not so much as a progress on what I've learn. I know a lot of people like to see where they are at but I just approach it a little different since a lot of the questions in the review courses are geared towards hammering in the information for the particular subject. Good Luck on Thursday. I'm pulling for you!!
