2.5 weeks (FT job) => 40 hours total for BEC too risky?

If I have Nov 10 to Nov 29 open with no tests, do you think it’s possible to pass BEC if I can only study about 1 hour a day and 2 or 3 if I get lucky? That is, if nothing crazy at work happens where I get slammed and work all night.

On a scale of 1-10 how nuts is this plan?

I think you can do it. But it will depend on how long you have had cost accounting or if you use it at work or not. I have taken AUD and BEC so far and I thought BEC was easier. All the variences take practice and are not as easy to “memorize” in my opinion, but if you have almost 2 months go for it you have to use the NTS anyway.

    AUD 89
    BEC 84
    FAR 87
    REG 94!! ALL DONE

I put probably 45 hours in. I put in 10 hours a day for four days before my exam (weekend and off of work). Used Becker.

The great thing (I think?) you have 3 full days off between Turkey Day and the exam to really put in some serious time. You really need to give up your weekends. I find that studying during the weekdays is fustrating as you can not make serious dents into the lectures.

If you are using Becker and are tight on time, you might consider not spending time on supplemental Qs from Chpt 3 and 5 which require multiple calculations. I was pressed for time and decided to just guess and then just read how to come to the answer. Overall I thought I did better in BEC than Audit (was a little bummed I got an 82) but whatever I'll take the passing score.

    8/20 AUD: 90
    8/31 BEC: 82
    10/6 REG: 83
    10/25 FAR: 93
