    @kahloon – I'm about to jump onto B4 as I'm wrapping up the cumulative review for B1-B3, but this whole Becker update with which version to use is irritating me as we discussed in the other post..

    oh nice, so you've budgeted around 2-3 weeks for review?

    Looks like Becker's software for BEC is updated as of this morning. I called Customer Service an ordered the updated book. It just came out, too.

    @kahloon – probably 2 weeks at most because I had here and there where I couldn't study because my family came down from Chicago for my graduation, but I'm back on the horse and ready to finish going through the rest of the material.

    I did leave 2 weeks for both FAR and AUD review though. By the way, check the reply I made to your message on the other post regarding the new ERM stuff when you get a chance.

    @kahloon – how have you been doing on progress tests for the units you have covered so far?

    @big4,

    Its been in the 60-70's. In the low 60's for progress tests that have alot of calculation with them. but so far I've only done progress tests for B1 and 2. Finishing up B2 today and moving on to B3 either later today or tomorrow. I feel like I've stagnated in my progress.

    Hi everyone – just took my AUD exam yesterday, May 8, and will start preparing today for my BEC exam scheduled for June 8. I'm heading to Disney world tomorrow morning for my daughter's cheer competition then to Jersey for my graduation from Rutgers with my MAccy. I'm taking my laptop and my Wiley BEC book with me to begin studying while on vacation. With the exception of the economics section of BEC, it looks like most of the areas that are covered were actually classes that I had to take for my masters. I do know not to take the exam lightly though. In my opinion, understanding the concepts is only half the battle when taking these exams. Good Luck everyone!! Let's rock Q2 2018!!

    @kahloon – that's not bad at all. Keep grinding through those questions. I'm starting B4 tomorrow – I took some days off since I just graduated from my master's program and had family visiting so I did light studying. Time to get back on the horse and finish the rest of the units and start reviewing. Let's finish this strong!

    Its just kind of annoying how Becker is putting so much emphasis on financial and operations management even though most of the MCQ's will be conceptual or related to COSO/Econ/IT. They've pushed IT all the way to the end of the book.

    @Big4,

    How often are you doing Progress tests and how many per session? I tend to keep my MCQ sessions between 10-20 questions each, else I lose focus overlook words in the question stem.

    @kahloon: this test has gotten more difficult since the last time I took it. Or I’m just getting too old lol

    I don’t remember it being this math heavy. So many formulas!!

    I am averaging around 70-100 on progress tests but that sometimes includes minir cheating when idk wtf the question is about

    @kahloon – During the first few weeks of studying for a section, I do at least one or two cumulative progress tests a week so I don't forget the materials I learn earlier in the study phase. During the review phase, I hammer through MCQs like there is no tomorrow. As far as the number of questions in each progress tests goes, it depends on which section I'm studying for. For instance, I did 33 and 36 MCQs per progress test for FAR and AUD, respectively in order to best simulate the number of MCQs on the actual exam.

    @allsheneededwassome,

    Yeah I studied BEC in Becker before their version 3.0, and it was alot less formulas. But Becker upped the calculation MCQ's in preparation for the Simulations section.
