    @asadkahloon

    I'm currently using Becker for BEC (I used Becker + Ninja for FAR and AUD). I use Ninja during my review phase for additional MCQs so I don't get too complacent with the Becker questions.

    You're correct – BEC is like a mini version of FAR. The Becker BEC textbook may be the thinnest, but it still contains plenty of topics to go over. Although most of these topics are just review for me since I learned them in my undergrad, but still takes time to just review and do MCQs. Not to mention, Becker BEC questions are ridiculously long, and they involve multiple calculations, just like FAR.

    It's just part of the process, and trust the process – you'll do fine.

    Hi all,

    I know Becker provided a link for ERM Framework update but does anyone know when the update will be included in the BEC course? I'm wanting to purchase the updated textbook.

    @Big4,

    For IT, are you just going to rely on Becker for Prep? Seems like alot of people taking the new BEC exam on here feel its lacking in depth. Not sure if I should put together a list of IT terms and memorize them.

    any recent test takers want to share their experiences??

    I've just finished going through all Becker stuff and will be beginning review. I learn more during review anyway so I'm just happy to get to this point!

    I have to pass this sucker or I have to retake REG which is like the worst feeling right now. How's prep going for everyone else?

    Hey guys! Took BEC yesterday. Freedom is so sweet after the last 9 months! I needed the whole 4 hours, which surprised me (to compare, FAR was a little over 3.5, AUD was 2.0, and REG was 2.5 hours). I think I was a little spacey though, it was a bit warm and the clock seemed to move fast. M/C was roughly 1:15, Testlet 3 was 1:00, Testlet 4 was 0:45, and Testlet 5 was 1:00. Hints: look at all the memo prompts at once. It's the only time I've ever gone out of order, in case I ran out of time. I felt like I did with FAR – easier than I was expecting, no real curve balls other than a few terms that seemed unfamiliar. Also, I'm glad that I once again had paper and pencil (I had it for every exam except AUD). I'm old school, and I filled that bad boy up. Good luck guys!

    Congratulations Jen for finishing! I filled my scratch paper up too. BEC was so different for me than the other sections.

    @Allsheneeded, I'm sure you will do well!!

    @jen-j: was it super mathy or a good mix of conceptual and math? I dont remember is being super math intensive when I took it but some others here have said it was literally all calculations..

    @kahloon: I'm using Becker only. I was going to supplement but I only have time to get through Becker which is an accomplishment in and of itself. When do you take BEC?

    @All,

    BEC is scheduled for June 8. Currently in the midst of B2 hating these calculations. I took BEC 3 years ago and focused on everything but the calculation and got a 70. So as much as I hate it, Im focusing on going through this a bit more in depth than last time. Though I know this time its probably going to have way more calculations due to the TBS. Side note, I also took AUD in April and ugh, the wait is annoying.

    @Jen-J – sounds like your exam went well, and I'm sure you passed. You just got to play the waiting game until the end of June.

    @Kahloon – I haven't gotten to the IT portion of Becker yet, but once I do, I plan on supplementing this particular section with Ninja and Gleim. I already have the monthly subscription to Ninja, and I have access to Gleim BEC from last year. Yes – I heard that Becker wasn't enough to get you prepared for the IT portion of the exam, but then again, I've had several my friends using just Becker and passed BEC with ease (90 or above).
