    Hi everyone:

    I took the exam 4/13. Not a good experience for me. The software crashed on me and I lost about 10-15 minutes because the prometric person didn't know what she was doing! It got me into a panic mode.

    overall the new software is pretty cool. I like it that you don't have to flip the tabs around anymore during the SIMS. Basically, everything was touched upon for me so study everything! Good luck to you guys. BEC is my last exam and I hope I passed… They say BEC is easy but it's definitely not! I rather take REG over BEC anyday….

    GLEIM
    BEC - FEB/2012
    AUD - FEB/2012
    FAR - JULY/2012
    REG - JULY/2012

    @j3CPA: Oh what a nightmare! And that too on your last section!! :/ BEC is also (HOPEFULLY) my last section. I can't wait to be done. Good luck to you as well.

    Progress Update:
    Finished B1, and Mod 1 & 2 of B2. I've realized that while stuff is familiar sounding I don't remember too much from my first attempt almost 2 years ago. :/

    Tomorrow is my second swat at BEC. I failed in 4th quarter with a 73. I’m really hoping to pass this one. I feel much stronger and confident than I did before and my scores have been consistently higher.
    I hope tomorrow goes well.
    I now have to figure out what to attempt next.

    How did your exam go @jenn? I'd consider AUD next if you could test by June 10th and have another test this quarter. If you have time to study for and take one of the longer exams by June 10th I might do that instead, but it depends on your schedule).

    Hi guys!

    I'm currently studying for AUD but thinking about studying for BEC next (probably will have 4-5 weeks to study). How many weeks do you recommend I study for BEC? I'm not sure if 1 month of studying will be enough with the sims that are now included.

    @ritzvi, it depends on your schedule and how much time you have to study. I like at least 80 hours of study time before I am ready to take any section. Some people don't do any practice SIMS and pass BEC with a high score. I personally prefer to practice SIMS. From what I've seen from people who have passed BEC already though, you can do it in 4-5 weeks if you are disciplined and have the time in your schedule.

    Agree with above. 4 weeks is adequate if you keep up with the pace. If you're coming out of AUD some of the stuff is going to sound familiar and help you move along. Good luck!

    How's everybody doing? Looks like @katie and @nikki are up this weekend, good luck!

    I've been taking half-days at work and doing lots of studying. Economics with Becker is exactly how I want to use my PTO, of course. I'm a little less than a week behind at this point (improved from before).

    @Jen-J I'm stepping up my studies this week. I changed my date to 4/29 so that I could get some more review time in. I didn't feel comfortable with my scores on the Financial Management section in my software.

    We are almost there! 10 more days left for me!

    Good afternoon everyone,

    I hope all is well with everyone here. I recently took AUD, and going to start studying for BEC once I give myself a little break. I'm scheduled to take BEC on 6/8. I've been using Becker as my primary and Ninja MCQs to supplement my studies, and will be doing so for BEC as well. Let's do this!

    I took a break from chapter 2… man that chapter seems like never ending. Currently doing IT which is more theory bc my brain needed a break from those formulas. Also the kids have been sick so that sets me back a few study sessions always :/

    Just hitting my final review after not being able to study for 2.5 weeks due to my crazy work schedule. I have 10 days until BEC and feeling a bit overwhelmed. Doing my best to hit the big ticket areas from each Becker chapter. Any advice is appreciated on how to approach my final review.
