    Progress Update:

    I finished B5 (Economics) within just 2 days of studying. This unit wasn't bad at all since it was just a quick review for me. A lot better than the previous 2 units (cost accounting and financial mgt stuff). I'm going to do a couple sets of cumulative progress tests then moving onto the last unit (IT) tomorrow!

    Are ratios provided in the BEC sims on the actual exam? A lot of becker SIMS have these in resources so wondering

    @Allsheneededwassome – I heard the ratios are usually given on SIMs, but obviously you would have know the ratios and other relevant formulas for any given calculation-based MCQs.

    Hi All! Finished up AUD May 7, now BEC set for June 7. Spent the last week moving and no studying. Feeling a little behind, but it seems that it is a lot of review so far. Review of FAR and my undergrad classes. Worried about all of the math. Good luck everyone!

    Short:
    The entire thing was awful. Pretty depressing.

    Long:
    Spent too much time on MCQs because they were math heavy. I used excel A LOT and I’m so thankful they added this feature. Testlet 1 I felt was intermediate but the second one got stupid easy for me. Terrible sign. Bad.

    SIMs were pretty much wtf. To be honest I need to think tomorrow with a fresh mind about what exactly was in those SIMs because I just don’t remember. What I do remember is that there was some crazy Foreign shit that I honestly don’t remember reading or practicing. I’m going to go back and look at the book tomorrow to really figure out where all this shit came from. I feel like Becker needs to add another chapter or something because there was some crazy stuff that don’t remember reading. Very disappointed. WC were straightforward but I think I had 17 minutes left when I started testlet 5 so you can imagine the quality shit I must have produced there.

    I’m so angry and disappointed in myself.

    @Allshenededwassome – I hope you passed! The general consensus for BEC this quarter seems to be calculation heavy as opposed to COSO/IT in the past. I'm sure you did fine – take a break for a few days. I'm going to start reviewing all the units again by hammering MCQs since I just finished B6.

    Sounds like we are at the same point in our studies. I just finished B6 and am going to do a light review of the book/notes before Mock Exam 1 on Sunday. I'm planning on starting a free trail with Roger or Wiley to supplement Becker's IT section. Good luck!

    I took the exam in April and have been waiting for someone to post their thoughts on this Q2 exam. I agree that there were things I had never seen before, despite memorizing Becker and having completed two graduate programs. (MSA and MBA)

    In fact, I tried to look-up examples for some of the things I did not know after the fact–just in case–and I can't find anything. Zero. This has left me with a perplexing situation. How can you get help with what you don't know, without disclosing what is on the exam?

    Fingers crossed that I passed and won't have to figure it out!

    Kg79: I know right it's crazy. I immediately called my husband while driving back from prometric and was like how the heck do you solve this xx problem (because he's a math major) and even he was like yes that seems a bit intense to get to ONE number. I walked away feeling like that about two or three big questions on the simulations – like how did they want me to figure out xx with the limited info that was given?

    I haven't opened the book just yet – my brain is still very foggy – I ended up binge watching christian grey until 5 am this morning with a bottle of red. So I'm going on 2.5 hours of total sleep right now. I can't remember the last time I did that. Saying all this because I only can recollect just two sims out of the 5.

    @big4: good progress and thanks! I have a bad feeling about failing this one. And failing with a score in the low 60s or something. Irritating because inDID put in the time and efforts. I'm going to go back to BEC after this weekend. And think I'm going to supplement with ninja just to change it up a bit.

    @Allsheneededwassome, I had a similar experience when taking BEC in April. I spent way too much time on the MCQs. I had a lot of calculations. I have no idea what to expect when we get our scores. I am praying that we passed!

    I'm wondering if I should keep reviewing the information until I get my score. Are you going to keep reviewing until score release?

    Hi all,

    I'm am currently scheduled to take the BEC exam on 05/31/18. This is the first section I am taking and I am completely overwhelmed. I am currently using Becker's Live Online Class that started on 05/14/18 and will finish 5/25/18, and I will use the remaining time before my exam to review and take the mock exams. Do you all think I have a shot at passing this exam utilizing this method or should I try something else.
