So I just got back from my BEC exam and I feel jipped. I flew through the first testlet in about 40 minutes (I was budgeting 45 for each) so felt good about have 5 minutes to spare. My 2nd and 3rd testlets were both way more difficult. I had my official “oh s**t” moment when I got to #16 on my 3rd testlet and realized I had 45 minutes left…which is the time I wanted to dedicate to WC.
I ended up going into WC with about 25 minutes. I had my intros with restated questions, a conclusion of “If you have any more questions please feel free to reach out” blah blah blah. And then just a FEW sentences in-between as my body. Not much detail. Hit a few key points and key words, but I’m barely expecting half credit on these.
I felt really prepared going in, so I don’t know why I struggled. I felt like I got a lot of obscure details vs. the really hard calculations that I was prepared for.
Is there a chance of passing based on the fact of having 2 hard testlets alone and MINIMAL points on WC? Ugh. I studied so hard and so much that I’d be crushed if I failed. I HATE THE CPA.
