Let me just say the BEC was HARD but way easier than I had originally thought. I’m pretty angry that there were a lot of topics that were not tested for me.

The point is, I don’t know how to feel. The first testlet felt pretty fair and I think I did pretty well on it. I got to the second test and it was slightly harder with one or two “WTF” questions. How do you know if you got a “HARD” testlet?

Right after that, it was 2 easy sims and then 2 difficult/impossible sims with some questions seemed impossible to answer. Should I be worried? I read that having easy testlets means you did not perform well.

Wouldn’t worry too much. If you put an honest effort into studying, you have a very good chance of passing.

I took BEC last week, and the second testlet was undoubtedly difficult. I flagged only two questions in the first one, but the first five questions of second testlet made me think I've been studying for a wrong exam. I think I ended up giving an educated guesses to about 15 questions. I remember for one calculation question I had to plug in the variable to 3 different formulas to finally get to an answer. But I wouldn't too sweat about the difficulty of the second testlet, though. All other subjects besides BEC I always felt I got easy testlet throughout the MCQ but I passed them all.

I wouldn’t worry. I went through BEC and couldn’t tell if the second testlet got harder and just made sure I did my best. SIMs all felt doable. Overall, it’s not a hard test it is just really hard to study for. I tripped up on timing for the written questions and went through those really quickly. Turned out I was better than comparable on MCQs and SIMs and comparable on written portion. You’ll be fine.

For me I go off of how many flagged questions I had to know if the testlet was harder. Overall whenever I've had a harder second testlet the flags seem to go up exponentially more. Whenever this has happened though I've passed so overall I think it's a good sign
