I just took the exam yesterday after failing last month with a 68. I had been using WileyCPAexcel to study, which is what I used to pass FAR, but when I took BEC last month I really felt like Wiley did not prepare me well for the exam. There were a lot of questions that seemed like the material didn’t even touch on. Anyway, this time around I used NINJA, and coming out of the exam I felt pretty optimistic. The MCQ was much more fair than last time and the SIMS were easier. I totally BSed the writing though and I know I got at least one of the writing completely wrong because I had no clue about the topic. But I made sure to nail the format for what the memos should be. Overall, i had to guess on a good amount of MCQ, i think i did pretty good on the sims, and i think i did fair on the writing for the most part. Is there any chance that I passed?? Won’t find out until August 6th.

Just took the exam. By far the hardest exam compared to the other 3. I passed the other 3 first try. This one, I made almost all guesses on the first testlet. Second testlet was easier which means I didn’t do well on the first. Full of computations on the first testlet. I studied using Rogers and was able to pass the other 3. Really sad right now.

@allusuc yeah I felt like it was really hard especially the first time around, the second time was noticeably easier, which goes to show how much each test can vary. a lot of people think Bec is the easiest but I don't think so. Honestly felt like FAR was easier to study for. I'm on to audit now, not sure if I should use Wiley as my main study material and supplement with NINJA or the other way around. I think I'll read the lecture notes and do the MCQ in the bite sized lessons in Wiley. But for BEC, I think NINJA did a better job preparing me for the actual exam. Good luck, hopefully you passed and you can be done with this nightmare
