Why can’t they be like DM, DL? Instead I have to remember some stupid names mean VOH and FOH variance analyses.

Does anyone have any tricks to remember which names go with what?

I'm not exactly sure what your question is, but if you're using Becker, the page-long example they have for the variance analysis is awesome. The A BA BS A mnemonic is how I learned to do it. I probably spent as much time on variance analysis as I did studying for most of the other stuff combined.
