So I sat my first two sections (FAR and BEC) this quarter. I know the score release dates but during this whole process I’ve had to sign up for 4 different websites and I don’t know which one my scores will be posted to on release day. At least two of the sites have places for scores. Also, is there a general time of day to start looking? I find out FAR on 12/11 and I also have my 3rd of 4 finals for this semester of my Macc program that night at 5:30 PM and am trying to decide whether I even wanna look before or not lol. Also, I’m supposed to find out BEC on the 19th but I know with WC there can be a delay. I heard there is only a delay if you are really close to 75 and they want to have a human look it over to make sure they don’t pass/fail you incorrectly. Does anyone know if this is true?

    Rose Marie,
I cannot attest to BEC, but I can share my one and only exam (FAR) result experience.
I got my score through NASBA portal.
Score was โ€œdueโ€ on September 11th.
So everybody started looking for the score on the morning of the 10th.
This Ninja forum site is a very good source of alerts of when the scores show up.
I got mine about 10pm Central.
Of course, there was not much work done on that day, what with refreshing every 5 minutes. ๐Ÿ˜ƒ
    Good luck.

I took FAR 2nd qtr this year, and AUG/REG in the 3rd qtr so I had score releases on Jun 27, Sept 11, and Sept 19. In all cases, they released the scores the day before. In 2nd qtr, they released on Jun 26, mid-morning, 9-10 am-ish. I found out by having this forum open and someone posted they had been released. Then, received AUD on Sept 10, evening around 7-8 pm, I think? And, finally, on the Sept 19 release, they posted at about 5 pm on the 18th, but REG scores didn't go up until morning of Sept 19 at 9-10 am. You can follow AICPA on Twitter and FB, and they will usually announce when they put them up. And, again, this forum will have people posting when they see them go up.

The site that they post to is: https://candidate-portal.nasba.org, the NASBA gateway site. They'll go up on CPA Central but not for a couple days later.

Hope that helps and good luck! Many of us keep the candidate portal up all day the day before and just keep refreshing obsessively…can't help it, lol. ๐Ÿ™‚

    Hi Rose Marie,
I had the soul-crushing misfortune of scoring a 74 on my last test (obvs close to 75). They still posted the score at roughly the same time as my others had posted, though it was slightly different because it was listed on the CBA website (I live in California) as an “advisory score.” That means that, as you say, because it's close to 75, they do some more QC to make sure the score is good. I would tell you, though, I've heard this advisory score almost *never* changes when it's finalized. It didn't for me. So if you get something like a 73 or 74, don't get your hopes up. I also don't know where you live, but if you're in Cali like me, or a few other states, you won't have your score posted the night before on the NASBA website as most states do.

Thank you all so much for the input. I am in Florida so I am not sure if they are a state where they aren't posted the night before or not but I will try not to obsessively refresh today, even though it will probably happen. I'm one of the few people I know who doesn't really do social media, no twitter or instagram or tumblr or any of that and my facebook is very tightly locked down so I'll just check back on this forum for an announcement too. Good luck for those of you also waiting for scores ๐Ÿ˜€
