I took BEC exam few days ago and still can’t shake off how it went. First MCQS was really hard and I had to flag at least a lot of mcqs and ended up guessing the answers. Second Mcqs wasn’t bad and sims and WC were okay. I walked out of the exam completely stressed and discouraged. Anyone had similar experience?

I felt the same way. I saved the BEC Exam for last after passing the other three exams first try, and honestly I felt less confident walking out of BEC than I did any of the other exams.

Same here. this was my re-take and I felt same way I felt the first time in took it in last Q. I wish we didn't have to wait this long for score release. hoping for miracle at this point.

Just walked out of BEC. Terrible. I just did not have time. Too many Qs that required complex calculations.

MCQs: Took me 2 hours to complete the 1st 2 testlets. By the time I moved on to the Sims I knew I was in deep sh*t.

    – Bombed 4 of the 5 testlets. Made a lot of random selections

    – WCs: Had to manage in ~40 mins. Didn’t put much thought into them – pretty much auto pilot.

Worst of the 4 sections. I too am hoping for a miracle.

It’s completely normal to feel discouraged after taking an exam but if you’ve put in the time and effort to pass you will find that once you let the dust settle you’ve likely done better than you initially thought. Also, you have to consider the pretest problems that don’t get counted. A lot of times those are the problems you are likely missing which are skewing your impression of how you did. Best thing to do is not overly speculate and just try to find a way to relax while waiting for your results. Good luck!

I took it on the 20th and it was awful! This is my last section so just hoping for a miracle at this point.. The MCQ were so weird I guessed on a bunch

    AUD – 76
    FAR – 76
    REG – 80
    BEC – pending score release

Same feeling here. Some MC was out of left field and there was one sim out of nowhere. WC I thought went decent, the questions were very vague and could have been taken in 1000 different directions.

This was my last one, not feeling too good. How many of you have started to restudy before getting your scores?

I also just sat for BEC today. It was a retake and I saw the same simulation from last time. Hopefully I got it right. A lot of the questions were put or left field. The test also shut down after I answered the first question.

All I can say is the pass rate was high last quarter. I can see the examiners upping the difficulty this Q.

I had the same experience. I did a lot of mcq and felt none of those were on the exam. I took mine on Jan 12th.. well I got a 74 🙁 Totally want to throw away my books and give up!
