So….these last few days have been terrible for me and all Illinois candidates in general (as well as few other states)…our scores were just released on our state’s board site this afternoon. And it’s not as if our State Board told us three days ago that our scores will be released today; each day they’d put out various messages via Twitter and FB that the scores are soon to be released. I mention that to try to put you in my shoes the last three days. It goes without say my final review, which for me is crucial because I usually go through almost the whole book for anything I have marked down with a question mark meaning areas I need to refresh before the exam.

So I took BEC today and I honestly feel terrible about it, especially the MC testlets. I think on each testlet there were six or seven questions that I definitely got wrong, if not more. Some of which I swear to God, Allah, Jesus whoever you believe in, I’d never even come across!!! And I’m sure I got one or two questions wrong out of the questions I thought I got right. So out of the 50% that’s consistent of the MCQ’s, I’d be lucky if I get 60%, giving me 30 points tops on the first half of the exam. Meaning, I’ll need to get 45 points out of the possible 50 points on the simulations and written portion of the exam just to get a 75. I feel confident about the simulations as well as the essays, but I don’t know if I’ll get 90% on them.

I was mainly studying through Wiley, and I had access to Becker questions, book and flashcards. So main focus of study was on Wiley and Becker was my backup. I’m not mad that I probably failed this exam, it won’t be my first fail. I just don’t understand how there were SOOOOOO many questions on Tech and IC. According to Wiley, and Becker has similar stats, this exam is supposed to be around 22% Corporate Governance, 22% Econ Concepts and Analysis, 16% Fin Management, 20% IT, and 20% Op Management. I think my exam was around 65% IC and IT. And if anything this number might be conservative. WTF man…anyway, I’m done with my rant. Thank you if you’re still reading this far…oh and Fu*k you BEC.

Yeah, had a bunch of questions on the second MCQ testlet that I had flagged and couldn't bring myself to submit because I knew my whole test hinged on it. Especially after feeling really good about the first testlet. In the end I only ended up wasting time second-guessing myself.

Still, wouldn't you rather deal with BEC than the other sections? All I know is I never, ever want to take FAR or AUD again.
