Just got back from taking BEC today. Feel mentally exhausted.
I walked into the exam feeling well prepared. There was not a single test bank question that I wasn’t able to answer. I was quietly confident.
First Testlet: Breezed through it in under 20 minutes. I am almost positive that I got every single question correct.
Second Testlet: WOW!! Absolute monster. About 50% of the questions were as difficult as the most difficult questions in the Wiley end of chapter book questions. This testelet took me around 1 hour to complete. Some computational questions took me 5-7 minutes to complete. I slowly methodically worked my way through, making educated guesses on questions that I was unsure about. After this testlet I started do develop a pressure headache due to excessive concentration.
Third Testlet: Not as bad as the second, but definitely much more difficult than the 1st. Again, I just worked my way through methodically, relatively confident that I answered at least 70% correct.
WC – Easy…
So, I have no idea how I did. When I left the testing center I was mentally exhausted. Today has been bitter sweet because I also just discovered that I passed FAR.
The funny thing is that I finished FAR with 45 minutes to spare and was 100% sure that I had passed. I honestly cannot say the same about BEC.
This exam truly is an emotional roller coaster. Another few weeks of waiting and stressing await me….
Good luck to everyone else!
