I am taking BEC next week. I was wondering who has taken the exam this quarter and how your experience was?

I took it on 12/09/17, and was pissed that the majority of the material was nothing like what I saw in Becker and Ninja MCQ. I passed though, so it's cool.

Sims were ok.

@turo9992000 I have seen that reaction a lot and I am nervous because I am studying with just Becker. Makes me not want to try as hard if this material isn't really going to be on the exam. How was the cost accounting on there? I have never really understood cost and am struggling trying to remember these calculations. Hoping I don't get a sim on cost.

I don't remember much since I deleted everything and I'm now studying for FAR. I seem to remember the sims all had a list of ratios and formulas, and that helped a lot.

Yes, the SIMs will typically give a list of ratios. That's been my experience on the various exams. However, any calculation MCQ will not give you a list, so you should have a general understanding on the calculations and how they work. My first attempt (12/2016) had a ton of calculation MCQs, but last quarter I only saw a couple.
