Well I took the BEC on Wednesday and it was different from all of my previous exams. I have passed AUD and REG (both on the second attempt) and they all seemed to be Medium, Hard, Hard. This was different. The first section wasn’t too horrible, the second section was somewhat tougher, and the last one was a joke. It seemed so simple. My WCs weren’t bad at all. I feel very confident with them. What does everyone think? Should I be worried?

Took BEC 3 times. 73, 74 and 81. So just beware. Not saying you did bad at all but the test itself can be tricky.

@leach2587 any tips on how to pass it on your third try?? I'm currently studying for my third attempt and am finding it extremely difficult to jump back in. (Sorry to hi-jack the thread, tidus!)

My two best scores were both what I thought were Med, Hard, Med. In both cases, I thought the third testlet was EASY; however, the CPA exam does not officially have any “easy” testlets by their definition.

I ended up passing with a 76. Thankfully I wasn't on the bubble. The third section seemed really easy for me so I was pretty scared. Made it by the skin of my teeth though. Now I'm studying for the grand finale. FAR!

@SomedayCPA2015 I really focused in on a few areas such as IT, Cost Accounting, COSO, and the other financial chapter (With ROI) during my studies. I knew I was close but I really did not know what I could do better. I figured since IT was its own chapter, it was important to know. I also had received a few of the same writing topics so I went back and to Google those because they were no where in the BEC book. I used Wiley and Becker just to give me more runs at questions to make sure that I was getting as many reps as possible. I felt the exact same coming out of all 3 but prayed a little more in between scores on the 3rd time.

Thank you @leach2587! I was screwed by not studying COSO enough my second time around. Naturally, my two exams were completely opposite and I made the mistake of focusing too much on my weaknesses as opposed to BEC in its entirety. I was not nearly as close as you (70 and 72) but close enough that I think I can do it this time around.

@tidus808: omg, we're on the same boat. Readying to hammer FAR, also is my last exam. The only thing that I'm still beating myself up is that I went back and changed a few answers which were right the first time around. Ugh…why did I do that? So dumb. So mad at myself. 🙁

Waiting for the score on February 4th.

Not sure how I did. Passed the first time a while ago, expired, retook it last November which I failed. Just took again on 1/17. Anyone wanna share more.
