Well my BEC experience was different than expected.

First testlet was very doable, I felt very confident with all of my answers except one, where I took a total shot in the dark.

Second testlet was noticeably harder, which is a good sign. But it was so much harder that I do not feel confident that I did well on it. Hopefully I scored well enough on the other four testlets!

The sims were very fair, I felt pretty good about them all and I think if you study the entire material provided to you, you would do well on them. One of them took a solid 30 minutes because I knew how to do it but it took a long time to solve/analyze.

Written portion was also completely manageable.

Overall, I feel decent about the exam. I could see failing but I can also see passing. Let’s pray for a pass so I never have to study for this miserable test again!

    Birdman-

why do you even care about the disclosure rules etc..YOu have already passed the exams. It is not affecting you in any way shape or form. I can almost see someone getting bent out of shape if they were a candidate but you are not. Seems like your here just to police around. The OP has shared here BEC exam experience, and since you have passed all the exams why would you even need to be on this particular thread ?

I care because I would hate to see someone on this forum lose a score, not get licensed, or who knows what else the AICPA could choose to do.

    I edited.

You can't disclose the “nature” of what you saw on the exam.

The AICPA's words … not mine … not some uptight poster who is being a stickler for the rules … it's what the AICPA says.

    Should be all good now.

When I see a post suggesting that someone might be violating confidentiality I've always taken it as someone looking out for that person. Also compliance/confidentiality is a pretty big part of being a CPA so it's pretty silly for you to suggest someone to take a chill pill on a matter that is a discreditable act.

Thank you so much @Jeff! Sorry for breaking the rules to begin with, I will be much more careful from now on 🙂
